We are not sure what Hal’s background is.  He was found in a place far away from houses and people at approximately 3 months old.  We expected him to be difficult to handle and not at all social.  Boy, were we wrong.  Hal is one of those kittens who puts his paws gently on either side of your face so he can muzzle your nose.  If he gives you the belly, do not be afraid- he really wants you to pet him.

Hal enjoys sitting on your lap during your Zoom calls.  He startles sometimes at quick moves or unexpected noises but, once he gets comfortable, he relaxes again.  His gentleness and temperament make him a good match for any age human.

One last thing- even though he is technically a domestic shorthair, his foster mom thinks there should be a new category - the domestic PLUSH shorthair to describe him!
