Description:

Hi everyone,

My name is Heather and I am a gorgeous calico kitten.  I have a sister named Hannah and she is a really cute calico kitten as well!  We would love to go home together, but that isn't necessary as long as there is another kitty in the home that we can play with.

I'll tell you a little bit about myself so you can see if I would be a good fit for your home.  I was found in a parking lot with Hannah, my sister.  I don't really know how I got there but I hear the humans say they think we were dumped there.  Our momma wasn't anywhere around and we stayed in the parking lot for quite a while and came to our foster really skinny.  The first few days, we were really quick to eat whatever she put down because we were worried that we wouldn't find food again for a while.  But our foster mom has made us comfortable and feeds us a lot, so we know that the next meal will always come.  We are gaining weight and doing great! My foster mom has been hand feeding me to help me to see that humans are good.  I am not aggressive in any way, I just needed extra time to learn that not all humans are bad.

I am a shy, I like to just hang back and watch my sister Hannah play.  My foster mom handles me every day and cuddles with me and promises me that I am safe now. I am really starting to believe her. She holds me in her lap and I'm leaning how wonderful it is to have my face massaged.  I get along great with other cats and kittens, I have to go home with another kitty.   I would do fine with gentle dogs and gentle older kids.

I am completely litter box trained.  I like to scratch on my scratching posts as well, we will need a few of those in my new home so I can keep up with my good habits!  I LOVE wet food, that is my favorite.

So what do you think?  Would you like to meet me some time?  I would really love to meet you! I just need someone understanding who will see that I am a very sweet girl, be patient with me and understand that I haven't exactly had the greatest start.  If you would like to meet me or have any other questions, please feel free to email my foster mom at tkn.alicia@gmail.com and she would be more than happy to talk to you about me (and my sister Hannah).  I hope to meet you soon!

Love,

Heather.
