Description:
Meet Port! This handsome, outgoing, snuggly guy is looking for a new home where he can uncork and unwind. Nobody seems to know if it’s those big blue eyes, his silky fur, or the way he purrs when he solicits affection. Whatever it is, he’s sure to give you that woozy feel you get with any good glass of wine.
Port is a true gentleman, and does a great job with dogs, other cats, and kids alike. He currently resides in a foster home with two large dogs, 3 other cats, and a 2-year-old, in addition to his foster mom and dad. He plays well with the other cats and is very respectful of their space. He loves to follow his foster mom and dad around and beg for attention while purring. He can be vocal at times, particularly when he wants attention. Port naturally likes to snack when he drinks, or really just likes to snack anytime. As a result, he has packed on a few too many pounds. While he has made great progress on his weight loss journey since returning to TKN, he’ll need of a family that can support him in continuing to meet his weight loss goals. Like the true gentleman he is, Port always uses his litter box. He does a good job using a scratching post, and otherwise uses his nails appropriately. Port originally came to The Kitten Nursery when he was still inside his mom’s belly. After being adopted, Port was returned due to his family being unable to care for him again. Port is now looking for a furrever home where he can settle in, snuggle up, and provide a serenade of purrs. Port has all of his shots up to date, has been neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. DOB: 06/28/15
