Van was part of a trap, neuter, release program in which the cats and kittens ended up not being feral!  When trapped, Van was placed, still in the trap, inside a transport van, but managed to escape out of the trap and ended up wedged underneath the front van seat.  After many attempts to coax or pull him out, Lansing Fire Department had to be called late at night to help remove the van seat and rescue him.  Hence the name "Van"!  He is a very quiet and still quite timid boy, but after all he's been through he just needs a loving home or he can get all the attention that he deserves.
